Here at American Health Advocates, we are service agency dedicating to helping you manage your health care needs, including health insurance and finding best options for you in the United States and abroad. Our services include disability advocacy, Medicare and employer group plans.
With decades of experience, our team will help you assess your needs and create custom plans right for you. We understand the importance of coaching you through enrollment in Covered California, Medi-Cal or Medicaid and Medicare, for example, at no cost to you.
We have a network of low-cost services including MRIS, medications, law and medical tests through LabCorp (click here) as well accommodating physicians, chiropractors and alternative providers. Always check with us and if you need help finding a doctor, email us for our questionnaire so we may direct you.
In 2014, Congress enacted the Affordable Care Act. Enrolling can be tricky. We'll do it with you via phone or in person FREE of charge. (Remember, in 2020, insurance coverage is again mandatory or you'll face a tax penalty!)
Medicare for those over 65 and the disabled can be one of the most confusing experiences and changes in 2020 make it even more so. On October 1st, we are hosting an open house to explain the process.
Are you disabled, unable to work or coverage? Medicaid may be available to you and you may be eligible for Federal payments. Call us for an assesment.
We can review your invoices and, in some cases, lower them. While there is a nominal cost for some clients, it's better than letting them go to collections.
Oft-overlooked these are also important aspects we address with you at NO charge. For example, did you know that for as little as $10 per month, you enroll a newborn in a life insurance policy that might pay for college?
